Eight hundred cadets descend on the RockBlok!

Lots of fun was had by all when cadet forces from all around the country (approximately 800 in total) organised by the Cadet Training Team descended on the RockBlok at Rutland Water. Over several weeks, up to 20 cadets every hour throughout the day, from as close as Oakham and as far away as Ireland challenged themselves on the climbing wall and high ropes along with other adventure activities at Rutland Water as part of their annual camp.

The RockBlok instructors were very impressed with the way the young people encouraged and supported each other, almost everybody reached the top of all our walls, including the elusive overhang!

On the high ropes course, although some were a little hesitant, encouragement from fellow cadets helped to spur each other on, ensuring all had a great and memorable experience along with some new-found skills for the future.

Everybody approached the activities with enthusiasm and determination. It was great to see so many young people and adult instructors face up to the challenge. Well done to all for their efforts and determination to succeed on all of the RockBlok activities!
